Where Is The Church?

If the house is dark at night, there is no sense in blaming the house. That’s what happens when the sun goes down. The question to ask is, “Where is the light?”

If meat goes bad, there is no sense in blaming the meat. That is what happens when the bacteria are allowed to breed unchecked. The question to ask is, “Where is the salt?”

If society becomes corrupt like a dark night or stinking fish, there’s no sense in blaming society. That’s what happens when fallen human society is left to itself and human evil is unrestrained and unchecked. The question to ask is “Where is the church?”

  1. My dear adopted daughter in the Lord,

Sad, but true, the church is oft times asleep in the light. His church has been instructed to love not the world nor the things of the world, but it has committed adultery with the love of the world and its system of man.

Hebrews 3:12-15 – Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today”, that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end. As is is said, Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.

A very sobering word to those who are called by His name.

May He open the eyes of our understanding so that we will know to the hope that we have been called.

    Love and blessings to you,
    Judie
