Unspeakable Love

“There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are messengers of overwhelming grief…and of unspeakable love.” ~Washington Irving

Her last words to me on Wednesday, “I miss you. I love you. I’ll see you next time.” Next time will be in heaven.

Yes, sweet Nanny has joined Pappy with Jesus. This pain is overwhelming. We have just started catching our breaths from Pappy’s funeral.

So much to say, pointless to try. Her life of faith and perseverance speaks of the hope we hold in our grief.

Always in my heart, dearest Nanny. Always.

Angie, I thought I was reading this wrong, and had to re-read. If it’s hard for me to take in, I’m sure it is for you and your dear mom! But so thankful we know all our days are ordained of Him before there are any of them! Nevertheless, what a deep void for the family left behind. We’ll be in prayer for you and family. Please share with your mom!
    Lovingly,
    Carol

Angie, we are so sorry for this loss for your dear family. What a blessing to know that your grandparents are with our Father and that one day, Lord willing, you all will be reunited. Much love and praying for your entire family!

  4. What a glorious next time it will be. (But, hate for you what that means on the flip side…now.)
